The Trial of Louis Riel: A Re-enactment
Program Description:
Presented in published form, this resource is designed to bring
history to life, for both teachers and students, by exploring
and role-playing the trial of Louis Riel. A highlight is the opportunity
to stage the re-enactment in the 1881 Schoolhouse; on occasion, the schoolhouse served as a courthouse in the 1880s.

Program Description:
Presented in published form, this comprehensive stand-alone resource is designed to enhance student understanding of citizenship
through exploring and role-playing the great Alberta capital debate of 1906. As well, this resource provides information on holding
general debates. The resource includes historical background, debate proceedings, role cards and more. A highlight is the opportunity
to stage the re-enactment in the very space that the historical debate took place the restored legislative Chamber of 1906, part
of EPS Archives and Museum.
